Why Use Videos To Generate Leads, Close Sales & Increase Referrals?  Because They Work!

VIDEOS CAN BE USED TO GENERATE LEADS, INCREASE SALES CONVERSIONS & REFERRALS...

Why does video work so well?  Because most people were born or grew up in multi-TV screen households.  Watching TV for news, entertainment or education is part of their everyday routine. (scroll down for our Free Report on 7 Ways to Use Videos to Increase Leads & Sales!)

But before broadband high-speed Internet and 3G & 4G cellular service, delivering high quality video to someone meant using broadcast or cable TV as your electronic delivery method.  Or you created a VHS tape or DVD for individual consumers to view.

Today with free services like YouTube and the spread of broadband
you can deliver short and long videos to a small target audience or millions of people.  All you need to do is to create your video.

Video Creation Services

The HARP video is used as part of a lead generation marketing system for a residential mortgage broker.  Pay-per-click advertising drives traffic to a landing page where the video explains the loan refinance program.  On the same page are offers for Quick Quotes and a Free Report on the program. To help build trust the landing page has social proof in the form of audio testimonials.  To capture as many leads as possible Live Chat is also used on the landing pages.  The video is educational with 3 Calls To Action with some animation and background music.

This video is used for lead generation as part of a marketing system.  The video overviews a particular expertise (Google Adwords or Pay-Per-Click) for a niche market (plastic surgeons).  At the end of the video a call to action is give to go to a particular website which offers a free report.  The video includes several animations, screen captures and video clips as well as a professional voice-over and background music.

This video is used for lead generation as part of a marketing system for an accounting firm.  The audio is from a live teleseminar or conference call where the CPA invited small business owners (prospects) to be on the free call.  On the call the accountants discuss 3 strategies business owners can use to handle their bookkeeping needs, including outsourcing it to the CPA firm.  We recorded the live call, used the audio to create the video that is now an Offer for a Free Audio Report on the same subject, targeted at small business owners.  Leads are generated via pay-per-click and telemarketing calls, driven to an opt-in form on landing page on a lead generation website.  Once the person opts in an email autoresponder delivers a link to a page where this video plays.  And a transcript of the call is also delivered via the email autoresponder.  From this point the person receives ongoing monthly marketing emails and offers.  

This video is was taken as part of a sales training program.  It is education in nature and highlights appointment setting techniques.  It is also used as a lead generation tool in an overall marketing system.  At the end of the video there is an call to action to call the office about a training program, of which the video demonstrates some of the skills being taught.  On the video we use callouts that spell out “objections” and supplement the audio (as the video was requested to be shot on the spur of the moment without microphones).

This video is used for lead generation as part of a marketing system for a professional coaching program.  This is what we call an “ugly video” sales letter that is part of a landing page where a free report is offered to encourage people to opt-in.  Web traffic is generated from multiple pay-per-click campaigns (Google Adwords, Bing/Yahoo PPC) and driven to the site.  Once the person opts in an email autoresponder delivers a link to download the report.   From this point the person receives ongoing monthly marketing emails and offers for related products, services and programs.


This ‘how to’ video is used for lead generation as part of a marketing system for a Business Valuation company.  The video overviews the business valuation process for an accountant or CPA and towards the end encourages them to refer business to the valuation company by enrolling in their program.  The video is 1 hour 22 minutes long and completion gives the viewer CE credit.   The video includes screen captures and screen shares of spreadsheets used in an actual valuation, along with some screen annotations.

This video is an instructional video for teaching clients of this company how to post Google Reviews on their Google+ Local page.  Reviews help this company to be found on local searches for specific keywords on their Google Adwords pay-per-click advertising campaign.  Emails are sent to clients with a link to a page with this video on it, helping to increase the percentage of people who have previously committed to posting a review, to follow through.  The video is uses screen captures and voiceover.

Three of these videos were shot at a live workshop where at a break, the attendees were asked to give a short comment about what they were learning and would they recommend it to others in their field.  These videos are then used on the landing page / sales page that promotes and sells subsequent workshops and conferences.  These video testimonials help build trust and credibility for someone visiting the sales page “cold”.  The 4th video (bottom right) is actually an audio testimonial converted to a video with the transcript of the audio on the screen.  It too is used on a sales page along with other video testimonials, to sell a training program.  The first 3 videos are simple, not fancy, and because of their basic production value, feel authentic for someone watching them.
